Did anyone see the Meteor( or something) round 8:30 or 9pm flying northwest lastnight? T'was like a green ball--- close in, like a meteor without a tale....? We drove back above the reservoir to have a look, and saw the fires- thought it had crashed!!!! ~Wow
- We made the decision to call it in to 911- and was told it was some prescribed burns that had been burning all day.... Exciting anyway.

Mon, January 19, 2009 - 10:10 PMNo, I didn't see anything, but I wish I had!
I've seen lots of stuff like that before, and always think my eyes are playing tricks on me. -

Re: Light in the sky last night?
Tue, January 20, 2009 - 8:39 PMThis was DEFIANTLY there... I saw it wizz all the way past the hill, and my friend saw it briefly. One of those "WOW" moments for sure. Funny when we found out that the fire was a prescribed burn tho... We were thinking of how to hike up there and have a look =) Kinda reminded me of the movie "Fire in the Sky" for a minute- but less sketchy. -

Re: Light in the sky last night?
Tue, January 20, 2009 - 11:11 PMto be honest, if you get out in the woods, away from the lights of the towns and such, oregon skies are FILLED with inexplicable lights that even change direction and move too fast to be a plane. fun stuff, makes ya wonder, huh? -

Re: Light in the sky last night?
Thu, January 22, 2009 - 10:09 AMwow, when I lived down there we also saw a flying object that was flying slowly across the sky but it was white and it looked like flames were coming down the bottom. It was definitely flying intentionally, not like a meteor that would be falling. we watch it for about 20 minutes before it went over the hill south of grizzly peak. We were watching it from Student housing and there were several of us. That was about 5 years ago. -

Re: Light in the sky last night?
Tue, January 27, 2009 - 3:12 PMlast year i was soaking in the warm tub at the wellsprings with a whole bunch of people. a HUGE green light blasted right over our heads with a brilliant tail aglow, super low flying, and fast. then it went behind the hills and the ENTIRE SKY lit up in a flash of green glory. the whole tub went "woah!" and then went silent as we all looked at each other. chills up n down. no other explanation here. -

yup, total electro glow. it was flying east to west.
i saw the same thing once when i was a kid, in LA with my mom, watched a green ball of light crash into the hillside and lit up the entire sky. my mom called it in, they had lots of reports, but no explanation.
angels of light are among us!
